Our History

Multi-County Community Service Agency,

Inc. (MCCSA) is a private, non-profit,

community based organization chartered

and incorporated in 1966 as Lauderdale

Economic Assistance Program, Inc. (LEAP).

This charter was amended in 1978 to

Multi County Community Service

Agency, Inc. to include Lauderdale,

Newton, Wayne, Jasper, Kemper,

and Clarke, counties. Smith, Scott,

and Neshoba counties were later

added to MCCSA’s service area.
